Quality Analyst III - Remote

Overview

The Quality Analyst III engages with agile delivery teams as a tester and quality advocate in CivicPlus’ collective mission to delight our customers. A successful candidate will be comfortable applying a range of skills to help their team or teams deliver high quality software, including typical testing work -- test planning, creation and execution, exploratory testing, bug reporting -- and team-focused quality advocacy such as looking for improvements to tooling, processes, communication, etc.

In Short

• Bachelor’s degree in management or computer science or equivalent work experience required.
• At least 5 years of experience in writing and analyzing test cases, test case development techniques and developing and refining QA processes.
• Deep understanding of software engineering models, testing techniques, and quality processes.
• Clear and thoughtful communicator, comfortable with bug reporting and asking questions.
• Flexible and pragmatic, good at prioritizing work.
• Experience with technologies such as Windows, REST API testing, PowerShell, and SQL.
• Experience with modern test automation tools like Playwright or Selenium.
• Experience in writing code in languages like Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
• Contribute to shared knowledge and participate in quality engineering initiatives.
