Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent with two years of traffic regulation experience.
  • Associate degree in a related field may substitute for experience.
  • Experience in supervising traffic regulation for higher assignment levels.
  • Must possess a valid New York driver's license.
  • Ability to conduct traffic studies and prepare reports.
  • Physical ability to perform vehicle checks and measurements.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety compliance.
  • Good communication skills for reporting and investigating.
  • Residency in NYC required for the first two years of employment.
  • Appointments subject to OMB approval.
