Interiors Project Manager - Remote

Overview

The Interiors Project Manager will oversee the development of architectural programs and manage small to medium size interiors projects to ensure that the design of work environments is functional and inclusive.

In Short

• Manage and provide guidance to architectural staff on agency needs.
• Develop space planning and test fits.
• Coordinate furniture and furniture systems.
• Review project Scope of Work and construction documentation.
• Assist in the development of departmental planning and design standards.
• Perform general administration duties including budget and lease review.
• Manage client agency relationships.
• Work in a collaborative environment with the Workplace Services group.
• May be eligible for remote work up to two days per week.
• Support the City’s mission through effective project management.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
• Five years of experience in construction and office space evaluation.
• At least two years of supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of building standards and leasing procedures.
• Experience with electronic data processing and telephone communications systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent with additional experience may be considered.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools.
