Overview

As a Materials Informatics Engineer, you’ll work directly with our customers and our Data Science team to solve challenging problems at the intersection of materials science and machine learning.

In Short

  • Work with customers to solve materials informatics challenges.
  • Develop AI assets on the Citrine Platform.
  • Provide technical support and training to customers.
  • Communicate empathetically with customers.
  • Handle support requests and report bugs.
  • Guide data formatting and ingestion.
  • Clean and explore materials informatics data.
  • Create knowledge base content.
  • Deliver training for customer users.
  • Maintain training materials for new features.

Requirements

  • Degree in materials science, chemistry, physics, or related field.
  • Located in the EU, preferably Germany.
  • Enthusiasm for customer engagement in the materials industry.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven customer relationship skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
  • Programming skills in Python.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English and German.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
