Overview

We are seeking Trustees to join the Citizens Advice Scotland Board at a really exciting time in our development as we prepare to launch our new strategy, which will see us build on our network’s strengths of delivering life changing advice and using our evidence base to tackle inequality and injustice.

In Short

  • Voluntary role, unpaid but reasonable expenses reimbursed
  • Location: Edinburgh/Glasgow
  • Time commitment: 1-2 days a month
  • Term: Appointed for 3 years with the option to be re-elected for an additional three-year period
  • Full induction and training provided
  • Open to candidates with skills in leadership, strategic thinking, and communication
  • Board experience is not necessary
  • Skills in data/digital, IT, human resources, or law are valued
  • Closing date for applications: 31 May 2025
  • Interview date: w/c 16 June 2025

Requirements

  • Active link with a Citizens Advice Bureaux in Scotland is preferred
  • Skills and experience in relevant fields such as data/digital, IT, human resources, or law
