Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

In Short

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process.
• Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development.
• Consult with users and other technology groups on issues.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation.
• Serve as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Demonstrate sound ethical judgment regarding business practices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Strong understanding of core Java and related technologies.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.

Requirements

• 9-12 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of core Java, collections, and multithreading.
• Experience in core J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, microservices development.
• Proficient in Oracle RDBMS; knowledge of MongoDB preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Design patterns and techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Familiar with standard SDLC and Agile processes.
• Strong logical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of performance monitoring tools like OpenShift, Dynatrace.
