Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team, contributing to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

In Short

• Participate in application systems analysis and programming activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation.
• Consult with users/clients on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Serve as an advisor to lower-level analysts.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Demonstrate independence of judgment and autonomy.
• Possess knowledge of Banking and securities domain.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer/Developer using Java.
• 3+ years’ experience in front-end technologies.
• Experience with software engineering best practices.
• Clear understanding of Data Structures and Object-Oriented Principles.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud-native development and Container Orchestration tools.
• Experience with Service Oriented and Microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of build tools, continuous integration, and code quality analysis.
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to write queries.
• Exposure to front-end technologies such as Angular and JavaScript.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
