Java Developer - Software Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Java developer to join our team and play a key role in the modernization and development of our Product Information Management (PIM) system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Java EE technologies, including Jakarta EE and JBoss/WildFly, as well as experience with web app development and RDBMS such as MSSQL and MySQL/MariaDB, and Elasticsearch.

In Short

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java.
• Ensure test coverage of the important functions of the PIM system.
• Ensure compatibility of the PIM system with various system requirements.
• Execute test scripts and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with developers to fix defects and improve quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest testing tools and methodologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in an agile environment.
• Programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Java test frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, Selenium, etc.
• DevOps skills and experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
