Junior Accountant 60-100% - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an entry-level professional responsible for supporting tax and accounting functions, with a focus on tasks requiring proficiency in both German and English.

In Short

• Support in the preparation and filing of tax returns (corporate, VAT, withholding tax, etc.)
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare payroll accounting and participate in audits
• Perform basic accounting tasks such as data entry and account reconciliations
• Analyze and interpret accounting data for accuracy and compliance
• Communicate with clients and tax authorities
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners
• Stay updated on changes in tax law and accounting standards
• Support audits and provide required documentation
• Proficiency in both German and English is required

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as a tax clerk
• Good knowledge of Google Sheets and accounting software
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous experience or internships in accounting or tax preferred
• Proactive work ethic and strong communication skills
• Interest in continuous professional development
• Preferred location in the Dresden area
