Junior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Junior Accountant will assist in managing the financial records and transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant regulations.

In Short

• Assist in processing and reconciling invoices and payments.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Accurately record all financial transactions.
• Assist with VAT/GST returns.
• Ensure adherence to internal control processes.

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Xero preferable but not required.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel is essential.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
