Java Developer - Remote

Overview

The Java Developer is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

In Short

• Contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of development process.
• Provide user and operational support on applications.
• Analyze complex problems/issues and recommend solutions.
• Consult with users/clients on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
• Work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Requirements

• Experience of Java 17, Spring Boot, SQL, and different Java libraries.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications.
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects.
• Nice to have experience in test automation, BDD, manual testing, JPA/Hibernate.
• Working knowledge of consulting/project management techniques/methods.
