Finance Intermediate Analyst - Valuation Control (Non-Markets) - Remote

Overview

The Finance Intermediate Analyst will join Citi’s Valuation Control Group, responsible for reviewing and reporting fair value inventory and IPV across various asset classes, ensuring accuracy and compliance in valuation processes.

In Short

• Execute valuation control processes including IPV and Fair Value Hierarchy maintenance.
• Analyze data to identify solutions for valuation issues.
• Prepare Business Valuation Control Reports.
• Identify pricing discrepancies and escalate issues.
• Maintain accuracy in reported numbers and commentaries.
• Contribute to relationships with stakeholders such as Front Office and Risk teams.
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills necessary.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting (VBA, SQL, Python) is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance or related field required.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Understanding of securities and derivative valuation methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in high-volume data analysis.
• Quantitative background in finance, economics, or mathematics.
• Proficiency in programming (VBA, SQL, Python) is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to operate with limited supervision.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative field.
