Overview

The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team, focusing on applications systems analysis and programming activities.

In Short

• Conduct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and IT planning.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process.
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of applications development to analyze complex problems.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation.
• Consult with users/clients on issues and recommend advanced programming solutions.
• Define operating standards and processes.
• Act as a mentor to new or lower-level analysts.
• Assess risk while making business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Drive ethical judgment in conduct and business practices.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of application development experience with Java/J2EE.
• Expertise in Core Java/J2EE applications and OOPs.
• Strong knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• Experience with Big Data technologies, particularly Hadoop and Spark.
• Hands-on experience in complex project execution in the Big Data Spark ecosystem.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Expertise in software design and optimization for performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
