Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Applications Systems Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team.

In Short

• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates.
• Monitor and control all phases of the development process.
• Provide user and operational support on applications.
• Analyze complex problems and provide evaluative judgment.
• Recommend and develop security measures post-implementation.
• Consult with users and technology groups on issues.
• Define operating standards and processes.
• Act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders.
• Manage risk and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work independently with limited supervision.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in systems analysis and programming.
• Ability to manage and implement successful projects.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes and containers.
• Familiarity with Observability solutions like Grafana and ELK.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• Good knowledge of consulting/project management techniques.
• Ability to assess risk in business decisions.
• Strong ethical judgment and transparency in reporting.
