AI Platform Engineer, Applied AI - Remote

Overview

The Applied AI team at Circle is at the forefront of leveraging AI to drive innovation for our customers through transformative applications of large language models (LLMs). We build AI-powered features for our customers — AI agents, AI workflows, and AI copilot. This role focuses on production AI systems, building infrastructure to measure and improve them.

In Short

• Build evaluation infrastructure to measure AI system speed and accuracy.
• Create observability tooling and dashboards.
• Diagnose quality gaps in AI systems.
• Experiment with different models and configurations.
• Prototype and validate improvements to RAG pipeline.
• Analyze customer usage of AI features.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers.
• Stay updated with cutting-edge AI research.

Requirements

• Experience building and evaluating AI systems in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Willingness to learn Ruby on Rails.
• Comfortable building infrastructure and tooling.
• Deep understanding of RAG architecture.
• Strong experimentation mindset.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in English at CEFR Level C2.
