Overview

The Sr. Automation and Release Engineer will play an instrumental role in bringing CIQ’s Linux automation infrastructure to the next level.

In Short

Work closely with Engineering and Operations teams to maintain automation and build tooling.
Provide subject matter expertise on automation and build tooling.
Participate in architecture-level discussions and planning.
Document projects for knowledge sharing and cross-training.
Design and implement test automation for software packages and operating systems.
Support product deliverables and business objectives.
Identify opportunities to optimize performance and reduce costs.

Requirements

Expertise in automation, tooling, build systems, and Linux.
Familiarity with Cloud and Cloud-Native Principles.
Ability to troubleshoot and improve applications and processes.
Proficiency in managing compute environments, including virtualization.
A collaborative and humble attitude.
Curiosity and eagerness to learn.
