Accounting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting responsibilities, primarily overseeing our equity and tax workflows. The position requires that the candidate be a hands-on professional with a strong understanding of the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting.

In Short

• Primarily responsible for the accounting of the Company’s equity incentive plans (including options and RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan (or ESPP), and all associated reporting.
• Responsible for other month-end close processes, including preparing and posting journal entries and maintaining balance sheet reconciliations, in an accurate and timely manner (for equity and certain tax accounts).
• Assist the SEC Reporting Associate Director in preparing SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.).
• Perform detailed review of the annual tax provision and tax return.
• Adhere to and comply with internal control procedures and maintain related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Company accounting and internal control policies as well as GAAP.
• Manage Company’s internal controls program.
• Correspond with external auditors regarding quarterly review and annual audit procedures.
• Manage external tax preparers regarding quarterly provision and annual compliance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• At least 5-7 years’ experience in accounting.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• A high attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
