Senior QA Engineer (Manual / Automation) - Remote

Overview

CI&T is looking for a talented and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for coordinating QA resources for IT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in and implementing the test strategy, reviewing requirements as testable, and developing test cases supporting the approved test strategy.

In Short

• 5+ years of QA testing experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with defect tracking and test case management software, preferably JIRA/Microsoft ADO
• Ability to apply software test engineering concepts and assess testing status
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced agile R&D team
• Thorough knowledge of agile development best practices
• Creating and executing detailed test cases
• Ensuring defect tracking system is updated daily
• Guiding team members and collaborating with testers and development teams
• Ability to drive testing efforts of multiple projects simultaneously

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience
• 5+ years of SQL experience
• 5+ years of data validation experience
• 5+ years of experience with ADO/JIRA and similar defect-tracking systems
• Experience with REST/JSON/XML Testing (SoapUI)
• Mortgage experience desired, experience with Empower LOS ideal
