In Short

• Seeking an Intake Specialist for the Intake Team.
• Responsible for taking client phone calls and assessing needs.
• Schedule appointments and maintain orderly schedules for mental health workers.
• Part-time, remote role with approximately 24 hours per week.
• Assess incoming calls and document new case summaries.
• Assign clients to clinicians based on availability and needs.
• Obtain and verify insurance information to coordinate benefits.
• Work alongside program staff for smooth admissions transition.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Work in a supportive, Christ-centered atmosphere.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Sciences required.
• Minimum of 2 years mental health or healthcare experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with computers and proficiency in software.
• Working knowledge of managed care environment and procedures.
• Knowledge of psychiatric clinical criteria.
• Familiarity with managed care and reimbursement systems.
• Previous hospital utilization review experience preferred.
