We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our team in downtown Houston, TX. This position is perfect for someone eager to build their skills in data engineering and data analytics.

In Short

• Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Azure Data Factory, Fivetran/Airbyte, and Databricks.
• Ensure data pipelines are reliable, efficient, and capable of handling large-scale data processing.
• Collaborate with data analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
• Clean, transform, and structure data to meet business needs.
• Work with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric to build and maintain analytics data models.
• Document data architecture, processes, and pipelines for knowledge sharing.
• Prepare regular reports on data pipeline performance.
• Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification.
• 0-3 years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Services and Fabric.
• Basic proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airbyte, Fivetran, DBT, Databricks.
• Exposure to upstream Oil & Gas data is a bonus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
