Senior Accounting and Finance Advisory Consultant - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting and Finance Advisory Consultant to support a client engagement which will be 3-4 months at a closely held organization that requires quality financial statements in preparation for a transaction.

In Short

• Technical accounting and policy implementation projects
• Month-end / quarter-end close stabilization
• Audit readiness and external auditor support
• Assist with clean-up of balance sheet accounts
• Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance
• Support complex accounting areas analysis
• Prepare footnotes, disclosures, and audit schedules
• Serve as a key point of contact for auditors
• Ability to operate independently
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of progressive accounting and/or finance experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience in month-end close and audits
• Advanced Excel skills
• Mix of public accounting and industry experience preferred
• CPA preferred
• Experience in project-based roles
