As Checkmate.live gears up for launch, we are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Community & Fair Play Admins. We are on the lookout for individuals who are passionate about chess, skilled in community engagement and committed to maintaining fair play. If you're keen to accelerate online speed chess as an esport and foster a positive community from anywhere in the world, we want to hear from you.

In Short

• Monitor online chess matches for adherence to fair play policies.
• Manage player check-ins for tournaments.
• Provide support for player issues during tournaments.
• Engage with the chess community on platforms like Discord.
• Review tournament outcomes and incidents of misconduct.
• Assist in planning and scheduling events.
• Work from home with flexible shifts.
• Must have a stable internet connection and webcam.
• Must be 18 years or older and knowledgeable in chess laws.
• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of the Laws of Chess and fair play regulations.
• Proficiency with community engagement tools.
• Technological proficiency with online gaming platforms.
• Ideally, a FIDE Arbiter title or progress towards it.
• Experience in chess tournament organization is preferred.
