Site Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for onsite and remote commissioning and field remediation, managing crises, and ensuring the quality deployment of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Solutions.

• Onsite and remote commissioning and field remediation.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment.
• Perform work functions with minimal engineering support.
• Report project status and escalations regularly to stakeholders.
• Perform quality assurance and control tasks during commissioning.
• Supervise and direct onsite crew.
• Communicate with clients to determine needs.
• Draft and submit detailed technical reports.
• Travel to various project sites as needed.
• Bilingual (French/English) is highly recommended.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5-7 years of troubleshooting and commissioning electrical systems.
• Strong proficiency using electrical test equipment.
• Proven track record in managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Ability to identify and define issues related to software and firmware performance.
• Working knowledge of Electrical and Safety Standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Travel to various sites on an as-needed basis.
