Overview

We are seeking an Attorney to join our interdisciplinary team as we create practical, impactful, and equitable policy solutions to advance health equity.

In Short

• Full-time Attorney position for a fixed term of two years.
• Conduct legal research and draft legislation.
• Support advocates and government officials in policy change efforts.
• Work collaboratively on interdisciplinary project teams.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and technical assistance.
• Preferred locations: Sacramento, Los Angeles, or Georgia.
• Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
• Remote work environment with occasional travel to Oakland, CA.
• Starting salary range: $80,000 to $85,000 per year.

Requirements

• JD and licensed to practice law in the US.
• 2-4 years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in legal research, analysis, and writing.
• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly.
• Strong attention to detail and computer skills.
