Foster Care Case Manager - Remote

Overview

The Foster Care Case Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting foster families while ensuring compliance with regulations and facilitating successful placements.

In Short

• Recruit, screen, and train potential foster parents.
• Conduct home studies and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with DCS, Licensing, and CARF standards.
• Assist in program growth by onboarding new families.
• Provide ongoing support to foster families.
• Participate in recruitment activities and community outreach.
• Coordinate training records and compliance standards.
• Work with Program Manager for child placements.
• Conduct quarterly visits to foster homes.
• Participate in an on-call system as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required; Master's preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience working with children and families.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn about trauma-informed care.
• Flexibility to meet workflow needs.
• Experience in crisis management and problem-solving.
• Evening and weekend availability required.
• Must complete pre-service training for Foster Care Case Managers.
