Overview

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is seeking a Policy Associate to join the Child Nutrition Programs team, focusing on state school foods policy. This full-time position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing for remote work while requiring occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of policy experience required.
• State policy experience preferred.
• Advanced education in health policy or nutrition is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience in advocacy and lobbying.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MSOffice and advocacy tools.

• Excellent research and writing abilities.
• Interest in public health and nutrition advocacy.

• Salary range of $65,000 - $70,000 based on experience.
