Overview

The Human Resources Intern is part of the Corporate department, which resides on the Human Resources team and reports to the Human Resources Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to gain experience and exposure while providing administrative and operational assistance to the Human Resources Department in support of planned initiatives.

In Short

  • Part-time temporary position approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Coordinate interviews and support recruiting by managing schedules.
  • Assist with the administration of job requisitions and provide recruitment updates.
  • Help with on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
  • Manage HR tickets and ensure timely support.
  • Prepare HR reports and track key metrics.
  • Gain hands-on experience in various HR functions.
  • Conduct research on relevant HR topics.
  • Work under the guidance of the Human Resources Manager.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • 2 years of study in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • Strong administrative skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Ability to handle confidential employee information.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor.
  • Focus on customer service.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
