Financial Data Analyst II - Remote

Overview

This position is responsible for the financial data analytic needs of the organization, utilizing financial and data analysis tools to support decision-making.

In Short

• Analyze and report financial data for the organization.
• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses and projections.
• Create monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Identify trends in competitive environments and present findings.
• Perform financial forecasting and account reconciliation.
• Support business initiatives through data analysis.
• Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Attend occasional office meetings in Long Island City, NY.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Participate in user acceptance testing of various systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of statistical or data analysis experience.
• Experience with financial analysis and month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries is highly preferred.
• Healthcare or managed care data analytics experience is preferred.
