Overview

The Crisis Intervention Specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to support the delivery of effective crisis services and coordinate care for individuals in crisis.

In Short

  • Work with schools, first responders, and providers to deliver crisis services.
  • Verify compliance of crisis provider services with contract expectations.
  • Educate local schools on identifying mental illness warning signs.
  • Support the development of crisis programs within the Provider Network.
  • Monitor performance of crisis service providers.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and rapid cycle improvement processes.
  • Provide on-call telephonic coverage for crisis consultation.
  • Develop training modules for system partners.
  • Facilitate collaborative meetings to resolve system issues.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Health or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in crisis intervention.
  • Preferred Master's degree in Behavioral Health or Social Science.
  • Licenses such as LISAC, LMSW, LBSW, CEAP, or LMFT preferred.
  • Experience in project management and data analytics.
  • Ability to educate and train system partners.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze and report on program outcomes.
  • Experience in crisis response systems.
  • Willingness to provide on-call support.
