• Join the Applied Legal Research team as an experienced transactional attorney.
• Apply corporate law expertise to build generative AI applications.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
• Develop expertise in AI research for transactional law.
• Prompt engineer and fine-tune language models for legal applications.
• Build benchmarks to evaluate AI model performance.
• Tackle AI problems in document analysis and legal reasoning.
• Improve data extraction capabilities.
• Must be a Singapore qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
• Flexible working arrangements with some collaboration time with the US.

Requirements

• LL.B., J.D., or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years PQE as a Singapore qualified lawyer.
• Experience in debt finance, funds, and complex M&A transactions preferred.
• High technical aptitude and comfort with learning new systems.
• Interest in prompt engineering and leveraging LLMs for legal work.
• Adaptability to learn new areas of law quickly.
• Proactive and independent self-starter.
• Comfortable operating with limited supervision.
