Senior Infrastructure Specialist – Cloud Operations (Remote)

Overview

The Senior Infrastructure Specialist is responsible for providing level 2/3 technical support for cloud solutions, ensuring that services meet the highest industry standards.

In Short

• Provide level 2/3 technical support for cloud environments.
• Manage cloud environments including VPCs, servers, identity and access management.
• Coordinate regular maintenance to ensure cloud environments are updated and secured.
• Debug issues related to cloud-hosted environments and apply corrective measures.
• Implement system design for cloud systems including deployment via scripts and console.
• Work with vendors to resolve support issues.
• Plan and manage installation, configuration, and upgrades of enterprise applications.
• Provide technical assistance and training to users.
• Create SOPs and documentation for new IT systems.
• Develop systems and tools for asset management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Over 6 years of experience in IT.
• Proven experience in AWS environment administration.
• Strong knowledge of cloud networking/VPC.
• Experience with Linux environments required.
• Experience with CI/CD deployment techniques.
• Experience with Terraform scripting preferred.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be independent and resourceful.
