Gameplay Animator - Remote

Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Gameplay Animator to join our team working on Project Sirius - an original video game combining beloved aspects of The Witcher world with immersive multiplayer gameplay.

In Short

• Join the team to work on a new story-driven RPG.
• Collaborate with design, art, engineering, and narrative teams.
• Create stylized motion captured and keyframe animations.
• Implement animations into the Unreal 5 engine.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions and critiques.
• 5+ years of experience as a character or gameplay animator.
• Portfolio showcasing a variety of animation skills.
• Proficient in Maya and MotionBuilder.
• Experience with Motion Capture data and Unreal Engine 5.
• Excellent communication skills required.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of anatomy for believable animation.
• Knowledge of current animation trends and technologies.
• Experience integrating animations into state machines.
• Curiosity and a positive attitude are a must.
• Rigging and scripting experience is a plus.
• Video editing experience with tools like Premier or After Effects is nice to have.
