Overview

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a highly skilled and visionary Senior Writer to work out of our Boston Hub. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting captivating narratives, compelling dialogues and innovative quests for Cyberpunk 2 - the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077 and the next major video game in the Cyberpunk franchise.

In Short

• Craft captivating narratives and dialogues for Cyberpunk 2.
• Collaborate closely with project leadership and a team of writers.
• Maintain the overall writing style and tone throughout the game.
• Mentor and support a team of talented writers.
• Review and revise narrative features for quality assurance.
• Develop narrative elements and features of the game.
• Create documents to support the game’s story.
• Ensure consistency across narrative, gameplay mechanics, and visuals.
• Provide insightful feedback to the writing team.
• Work independently while collaborating with the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Senior Writer, preferably in RPGs.
• Strong storytelling abilities and understanding of interactive narrative design.
• Exceptional writing skills for characters and immersive storylines.
• Knowledge of game design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for video games and understanding of player expectations.
