Senior Fire Protection Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Fire Protection Engineer will lead the team in the design work on multi-discipline projects and lead the preparation of comprehensive fire protection packages including fire suppression, fire alarm, smoke management, and life safety.

• Lead the design and specification of fire protection systems.
• Evaluate and create fire protection calculations.
• Lead the evaluation of building and life safety requirements.
• Manage construction administration and resolve design issues.
• Prepare and present technical reports and presentations.
• Build relationships with clients and develop new business opportunities.
• Manage sales and marketing efforts.
• Ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the department.
• Responsible for QA/QC process adherence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in fire protection engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years related design experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced knowledge of design tools like AutoCAD or Revit.
• Ability to obtain access authorization to client facilities.
• Experience with military standards preferred.
• Professional Fire Protection Engineer (P.E.) license required.
