Overview

The Procurement Supplier Management FLIGHT DECK Leader will collaborate closely with our supply base in developing and implementing lean principles to enhance operational capabilities.

In Short

• Collaborate with suppliers to implement lean manufacturing principles.
• Facilitate workshops and training on lean tools and methodologies.
• Support supplier engagement initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization in the supply chain.
• Act as a liaison between GE Aerospace and suppliers.
• Drive the adoption of lean tools for supplier development.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Build strong relationships with key supplier stakeholders.
• Commit to fostering a culture of operational excellence.
• Willingness to travel 50% to 75% of the time.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Operations, or Training.
• 5+ years of experience in a lean leader role is desired.
• Proven experience in lean manufacturing and operational management.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to challenge existing processes and think critically.
• Commitment to being coachable and learning.
• Respectful and transparent in communication.
• Strategically prioritize work and focus on outcomes.
• Leadership ability to collaborate across teams.
