Overview

The Child Criminal Exploitation Practitioner will deliver interventions to children and young people affected by criminal exploitation through creative arts, helping them build resilience and make positive decisions.

In Short

  • Deliver one-to-one interventions with vulnerable children and young people.
  • Build relationships with agencies to facilitate support.
  • Record all interventions and monitor progress.
  • Complete assessments and inform risk management plans.
  • Utilize creative arts to engage young people.
  • Participate in relevant training for best practices.
  • Work with a caseload of up to 10 young people.
  • Complete Outcome Stars for tracking progress.
  • Engage in flexible homeworking opportunities.
  • Adhere to safeguarding practices and complete background checks.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in youth/community work or social care.
  • Desirable qualification in youth/community work, health, or education.
