Senior Finance Manager (Part-time) - Remote

Overview

The Senior Finance Manager will work closely with the Finance & Payroll Manager, managing accounting tasks, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Part-time position (approximately 8 hours per week / 20%)
• Manage accounting including invoice processing and payment approvals.
• Organize and lead controlling meetings with budget holders.
• Prepare annual financial statements according to HGB and manage audits.
• Review payroll and ensure smooth operations.
• Coordinate with external partners like tax advisors and insurance providers.
• Create regular financial reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• More than 5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Experience in preparing annual financial statements and audits.
• Knowledge of reporting in VC-funded FinTechs.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities under deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in remote teams.
• Fluent in German and English.
