Senior Beverage Buyer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Beverage Buyer is responsible for the profitable procurement and timely delivery of products for assigned lines, working closely with the Sr. Director of Purchasing and Senior Buyers.

• Order products to meet forecasted demand.
• Obtain the best possible product costs, quality, and service.
• Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
• Strive to meet inventory and turn goals while minimizing distress.
• Interface with various departments and maintain vendor relationships.
• Review acquisition costs to ensure competitive pricing.
• Assess inventory and market conditions for order forecasting.
• Conduct post-promotional reviews and analyses.
• Manage Accounts Payable variance processes.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations for product flow.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Purchasing or Vendor Management experience.
• Marketing/Logistics experience preferred.
• Understanding of beverage procurement and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer aptitude in MS Office.
• Ability to concentrate amidst interruptions.
