Insurance and Claims Manager - Remote

Overview

Cargomatic is seeking an Insurance & Claims Manager to own and oversee our insurance and claims lifecycle, managing claims across cargo, liability, property, and workers' compensation.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end management of all insurance claims.
• Serve as the primary liaison with carriers, brokers, and legal counsel.
• Oversee preparation and processing of Certificates of Insurance (COIs).
• Support compliance with federal, state, and local insurance regulations.
• Coordinate with Safety, Operations, and Legal teams.
• Own the annual insurance renewal process.
• Analyze loss trends and develop risk mitigation strategies.
• Maintain organized claims records and tracking systems.
• Audit vendor and contractor insurance compliance.
• Assist with litigation support for coverage disputes.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of insurance and claims experience.
• Solid understanding of transportation insurance policies.
• Working knowledge of COI management and claim resolution.
• Familiarity with insurance claims systems or TMS platforms.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
