Overview

The Azure Cloud Engineer III is responsible for developing IT engineering designs that support infrastructure requirements and ensuring compliance with technical standards while working with cloud-based technologies.

In Short

Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs.
Complete analysis of business requirements related to technical infrastructure design.
Assess testing requirements and prepare testing strategies.
Implement changes to business information and technical systems.
Lead complex projects utilizing staff and resources.
Train technical staff on software/hardware tools.
Automate and streamline operations and processes.
Consult with stakeholders to understand technical goals.
Scripting in languages such as Terraform and PowerShell.
Evaluate and recommend new software/hardware.

Requirements

Experience in public cloud environments.
Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and techniques.
Knowledge of network protocols and load balancing technologies.
Familiarity with distributed source control systems like Git.
Knowledge of orchestration software such as Ansible and Chef.
Experience with Firewalls like Palo Alto and Azure Firewall.
High level of experience and proficiency in cloud technologies.
Ability to analyze and revise existing system logic.
Strong problem-solving skills in cloud hosting environments.
Experience in training and mentoring technical staff.
