DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our large-scale technology ecosystem, implementing self-managing practices, and ensuring rapid iteration and scalability.

In Short

• Manage applications using automated Build, Release, Deployment, and monitoring alerting.
• Design tools to proactively anticipate failures/issues and automate self-correcting mechanisms.
• Ensure reliability of hosted infrastructure and recommend cost-effective expansion methods.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects and act as DBA for database performance tuning.
• Provide immediate resolution on blocker issues like performance issues and system downtime.
• Maintain a flexible work schedule to communicate with global stakeholders.
• Setup and configure Azure environments.
• Monitor Azure environments and apply necessary actions.
• Resolve blocker issues like database failure and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Experience in writing build and deployment automation.
• Deep understanding of cloud-based architectures.
• Experience managing source code repositories in Git.
• Strong scripting capability in one or more languages.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
