• Advise local teams of the Careem Rides business in the MEA region on Employment Legal issues.
• Be part of the broader Careem Rides and Uber Employment Legal Team.
• Advise on employment legal aspects of contracts and business agreements.
• Research new legislation and its impact on the business.
• Handle and advise on litigation disputes.
• Advise HR on employment matters including recruiting and performance management.
• Draft and negotiate employment documents.
• Partner with HR and internal audit on various projects.

Requirements

• 3 - 6 years of employment law experience.
• Knowledge of employment law in multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong business judgment and communication skills.
• Ability to spot issues and articulate plans.
• Collaborative approach with business and legal groups.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic preferred.
