Offtake Strategist - Remote

Overview

The Offtake Strategist will work with buyers to scale corporate offtake and accelerate the deployment of high-quality carbon removal, RECs, and SAF. This role is essential to scale high-quality carbon management and achieve our mission of helping companies decarbonize.

In Short

• Support target setting, funnel development, and execution for high-quality offtake
• Design and develop offtake structures that help buyers meet their climate goals
• Engage buyers on business development, sales, and partnership development
• Own the acquisition and growth of key offtake accounts
• Support buyers with portfolio design and execution
• Work with marketing and leadership teams on successful interactions
• Improve conversion and retention rates across teams

Requirements

• Proven track record in strategic offtake/sales for inventory-based businesses
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and partners
• Familiarity with offtake agreement structuring and compliance
• Experience in business development and sales pipelines
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
• Understanding of carbon management and sustainability
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment
• Proficient in CRM software
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
