Senior Compensation Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Compensation Analyst will research job requirements and evaluate and maintain job positions to ensure the company is competitive in the areas of salaries and employee benefits.

In Short

• Assess jobs and their respective duties to determine classification as exempt or nonexempt and appropriate salary range.
• Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
• Prepare and maintain job classifications and salary scales.
• Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources.
• Prepare and present summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
• Interview and survey employees and managers to gather job-related information.
• Gather data from market-based compensation surveys.
• Research employee benefits in similar industries.
• Prepare reports of data results and findings for senior leadership.
• Advise management on applicable employment regulations and compensation policies.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field required.
• CCP, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• At least five years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
