Formulary Operations Manager - Exchange - Remote

Overview

The Formulary Operations Manager is responsible for providing operational support for the evaluation, implementation, and maintenance of our standard and custom Commercial and Exchange formularies and utilization management.

• Define, configure, and maintain standard and custom formularies.
• Provide client-facing strategic and operational support.
• Evaluate appropriateness and operationalize formulary requests.

• Set criteria for medication analysis and reporting requirements.
• Evaluate drugs and make formulary positioning recommendations.
• Support claim troubleshooting and formulary change processes.
• Assist with general business operations and quality improvement projects.

Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) Degree.
• Current, unrestricted registered pharmacist license(s).
• Residency/fellowship preferred.
• 2-3 years of formulary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of formulary development processes.
• Experience with large datasets preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
