Lead Designer - Remote

Overview

As our first in-house Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our product as we transform how businesses in Africa make international payments.

In Short

• Lead the end-to-end design process for our product, from research and ideation to implementation
• Develop and maintain our design system and component library
• Work closely with product, engineering, and research teams
• Create user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs
• Conduct research alongside our user research team

Requirements

• Extensive product design experience
• Deep expertise of modern design tools and software, such as Figma
• Experience in early stage start-ups
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong experience in designing complex B2B products
• Track record of building products from first principles
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally
