FBS Observability Engineer - Remote

Overview

This role will be part of the Enterprise Observability team that provides observability solutions to teams across the company in the form of a shared service.

In Short

• Managing and evolving the enterprise observability platform, focusing on operational excellence and best practices.
• Provides platform stewardship, optimization, and strategic enablement.
• Collaborates with Site Reliability Engineers (SREs) and automation engineers for enhanced issue detection.
• Drives intelligent alerting and automated remediation across a complex enterprise environment.
• Manages the unified observability platform and ensures application and infrastructure teams' needs are met.
• Involves instrumentation, configuration, alert creation, coaching, and ongoing improvements.
• Requires previous experience in implementing observability in complex environments.
• Focus on best practices and collaboration with many stakeholders.

• Demonstrated experience in observability solutions.
• Strong background in Site Reliability Engineering.
