Overview

The Observability Engineer will design, maintain, and improve observability systems to enhance the health and performance of our platform.

In Short

  • Design and improve observability systems including alerts and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot monitoring-related issues.
  • Define SLIs, SLOs, and alerting strategies.
  • Automate observability infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Optimize CI/CD pipelines and integrate observability checks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams.
  • 2+ years of experience with monitoring systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
  • Experience with scripting and automation.
  • Clear communication skills, especially during incidents.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Experience deploying services in containerized infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of AWS and core networking concepts.
  • Proficient in Git and version control workflows.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex monitoring issues.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools.
  • Understanding of SLIs/SLOs and incident alerting strategies.
  • Ability to analyze production issues using observability tools.
