Overview

The Observability Engineer at AHEAD plays a crucial role in supporting and streamlining Managed Services platforms. This position emphasizes collaboration and the maintenance of tooling architecture to enhance operational efficiency.

In Short

  • Utilize IT knowledge to support Managed Services platforms.
  • Work collaboratively to ensure quality documentation and delivery.
  • Automate operational tasks to drive efficiencies.
  • Engage with customers and service delivery groups.
  • Document processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Provide third-level support and troubleshooting assistance.
  • Support P1 Platform outages as needed.
  • Maintain integrations with third-party tools.
  • Be proactive in identifying and fixing potential problems.
  • Participate in after-hours support as scheduled.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in an enterprise environment with uptime requirements.
  • Experience with monitoring and event management technologies.
  • Scripting and automation skills in PowerShell, Perl, or Python.
  • Experience with LogicMonitor and Elastic Observability Platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with SOAP and Rest APIs.
