Overview

The role involves working across the full Linux stack to optimize Ubuntu for the latest silicon, focusing on both desktop and server environments.

In Short

Design and implement Ubuntu integration for IoT and server-class hardware.
Deliver an optimized Ubuntu experience on partner platforms.
Contribute to technical plans, testing strategies, and quality metrics.
Act as a technical lead on complex customer engagements.
Assist customers in integrating apps and optimizing applications with Ubuntu.
Work with advanced operating systems and application technologies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM, or similar.
Experience with Linux packaging (Debian, RPM, Yocto).
Experience with open source communities and licenses.
Proficiency in C and C++.
Ability to work in a globally distributed team.
